Staff was very pleasant and polite.I ordered the corn beef with fries and mac&cheese.The corn beef was smokey, tender, and delicious. The sauce that came with it was a bit tangy and delicious also.The fries were pretty nice, but no seasoning, which is fine because they were still crispy and delicious.The mac&cheese surprised me because it looked like Kraft (no offense). But I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of flavor in it. This place was great, and I definitely will be back to try more off the menu.

Thoroughly enjoyed their smoked corned beef brisket with Cajun fries and creamy spinach. Servers were friendly and efficient.

Great BBQ, very tasty!

Loved the patio set up, makes you feel like you're on vacation or down by the shore. The Mac & Cheese was excellent and The Reuben was delicious. The meats are cooked perfectly. The staff is super nice and friendly. We are already planning on going back. Highly recommend!!

Great food. Best BBQ around. It was out first time there so wr shared the 3 meat platter to try more of the menu. Brisket pork and ribs were all awesome

Ive been a customer since they've opened and they always have fantastic food and great service.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Always consistent meals, if you like what you had you can get it again and again and still enjoy it. Food is cooked perfectly and they make all kinds of adjustments based on what you like. I have come at least 7 times and they are always good. When it's nice they have a semi covered patio that offers great outdoor eating. They have beer and wine

Amazing food! Came last minute the staff was very friendly and a tentative. if you want the good stuff however I recommend going earlier because they were out of stuff which is to be expected at this time of night. I got brisket and pulled pork with fries and chili and it was absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend if you haven't tried it to try it! They need to hurry up and finish the one in Meriden so I can try that one.

Best BBQ in 100 miles, and that's not easy for me to say after living in Memphis (BBQ country) for over two years!Their primal fries (seasonal menu item) are by far their best item!

Best pulled pork I've eaten outside of South Carolina. Perfect sauce! Slaw is good a bit vinegar-y for me but I still put it on my sandwich. My husband got the pulled chicken sandwich-also tasty. They have house made potato chips which we always think is a plus. We were driving to Hartford from Philadelphia for a concert and stopped here because we follow Van on IG. We missed him that day but those sandwiches were worth it. Next time we come up for a concert we'll definitely stop. We still have to try the brisket! Thanks for a really good meal y'all!

Everything from this place is delicious and amazing. I can honestly say that they have the best smoked chicken wings I’ve ever had. They are best without any of the sauces in it so that you can really taste the smoke and whatever seasonings they use. Legit should be renamed crack wings!

Amazing food! Good service. Nice dinning area outside. A recommended to anybody looking for some good food and a nice atmosphere. Recommended the BBQ EGG ROLLS!!! For a appetizer amazing!!

i would put six stars if i could. their food is on a whole nother level of greatness! I got a mac n cheese dish on my latest visit and it was the best ive had in my life! they never dissapoint.

Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. The ambience was perfect(outside seating) our waitress was great and attentive. The drinks were good. All around a great place to go. As for the food OMG, if it was socially acceptable to lick the plate I would have. And the pricing was surprisingly cheap. Bottom line you need to go!

We went there on a Sunday. Almost drove by it, because it's a very small place on the corner of Ace hardware. The barbecue was very tasty but everything was cold. I was very surprised, because it came out rather quick. The homemade bbq sauce was good. I just wish they serve the food hot.

It's good here but they run out of food very often.

A lot of good menu items. Sometimes the meats are dry and the wings are bland, other times the food is on point. I'd like more consistency for a 5* rating.

The smell of smoked meat draws you in. And the taste does not disappoint. If you are in the Middletown area this is definitely a great spot for the BBQ person inside you

Love this place. Been there twice. It's not close to home but worth the drive if you like BBQ. The mac and cheese is awesome, as is their brisket. Both times the service was great. Will definitely be back.

Been here 4 times now and each time is a good as the last. Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. Everything from the pulled pork, to the brisket, and wings are fill of flavor and smokey goodness. The sides are great as well, my personal favorites are the baked beans and collard greens. Plenty of good beer and wine available as well. Seating on the patio is very nice. Dont be fooled by the appearance from the parking lot, this place is top notch.

Best ribs I've had in Connecticut. Not only were the pork ribs and pulled pork delicious but the sides were all outstanding also.

Smells great, tastes great, good appetizers, decent prices. Friendly staff, good outdoor seating. I tried the sausage, it was a bit dry but the taste was good. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes.

Excellent food! We loved the grilled shrimp, brisket and sausage. Excellent homemade sauces. We are traveling so this was fabulous food!

The food at Taino Smokehouse is delicious. I recommend trying the smoked corned beef. It was incredibly tasty. And everything else was so good too. I really loved the corn muffins too. They weren't dry at all. Also make sure you get the mac & cheese. I will definitely go back.

The pulled pork was spit on, the chicken was very good, but maybe a bit more smoke. The Mac & cheese was incredible?

Great service, nice atmosphere, ok prices. Food didn't meet my expectations. I found the smoked brisket to be much drier than I hoped. The potato salad wasn't seasoned to my likes. The Mac and cheese wasn't the consistency that I look for. All that being said, I still gave them 4 stars and would go there again. I believe they are worthy. I just have particular expectations that not everyone meets.

Best BBQ in ct ! This smokehouse is an awesome place to eat! Or pick up food to go like I usually do. Staff are friendly too. My favorite meal is the St. Louis ribs with the garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The pulled pork is also amazing! I can’t forget the corn bread it’s delicious they have a secret cinnamon butter they put on top of it and it’s so good! Food is Definitely worth the price!

Soooooooooooo good, I love this place. I don’t get to come here often, but it never ceases to impress. I ordered wings with Alabama sauce on the side. The wings are Smokey and grilled to crispy perfection, and unbattered. The chili is thick, a little sweet, Smokey and perfectly spice and flavorful. The restaurant itself is clean and put together with a comfortable sitting are, and the staff are friendly and on top of things, getting food out hot fresh and on time even during busy times. Thanks again guys if you read this, it was a pleasure as always.

Food simply awesome. Small dining area. They do lots of take out. All meats prepared on site. Best I have had anywhere in the Northeast, by a mile.

Fantastic BBQ! Fresh and flavorful food. Friendly and welcoming staff. Brisket sandwich and ribs were great and the house made potato chips were a real treat. Even the blue cheese dressing was house made and delicious. Really enjoyed our meal here and can't wait to make an excuse to come back...it's worth the drive! Highly recommend!

You can't believe a tiny little place in a strip mall next to Ace Hardware could possible have food this good, but it does. My wife and I shared a two meat platter and it was the absolute perfect amount of food. The brisket and ribs were nothing short of fantastic.

BEST smokehouse food I have had in a long time! Portions are HUGE enough for seconds, and delectability at its finest! Everything is amazing, however order or dine early so there are options for meats!

Delicious food, loved the bbq sauce, wings with honey sweet chili with the spicy korean sauce on the side and their homemade blue cheese were THE BOMB. Brisket was flavorful and the cornbread needs its own 5 star review.
